Past Events -
March 3, 2023 - We enjoyed the presentation by Tom Olechiw who turned a walnut winged bowl with a lid and finial.
February 4, 2023 - Mike Nathal returns to demo Non-Hollow Forms.
It will include three different projects that involve both turning and carving. Students taking the LET class will have the option of trying to reproduce one of these projects, or instead working on spindle turning basics. If you want to try one of these projects, bringing a carving tool like a Dremel or Foredom and several carving bits will allow you to get farther. Other suggested tools include a pencil, calipers and any turning tools you want to bring.
January 7, 2023 - Tom Olechiw will demo and there will be a LET class afterwards. Class fee is $10 and there are no reservations, but there is a class limit of 8 attendees. Empty Bowls for Brecksville-Broadview Hts charity will be collected at this meeting!!!!
North Coast Woodturners
is a woodturning club serving northeast Ohio.
Our mission is to provide education, information, and organization to people in this area interested in the art and craft of woodturning. We usually meet in Brecksville on the 1st Saturday of every month and occasionally will meet on Sunday when we have special guest turners.
We meet in person at 6914 Stadium Dr in Brecksville , OH, with LET classes, Show n Tell, and a Wood Raffle. Virtual meetings and demos will at times continue on the Zoom platform and you will be notified.
View a sample club newsletter and one of our demonstrations.
Our Club also posts videos of their member demos on YouTube.
